Snap alignment, occupied sockets, structural overlap and direct support are checked before placement and when saving a guide.

Half-height shelves can meet walls and openings. Doorway, window and frame midpoints do not support a floor; a separate supporting wall is required.

Flat, connected foundations only. Terrain, building privilege, native stability, cantilevers and door clearance still need checking in Rust. A green preview passes this planner's checks.

Supports square and triangular foundations/floors, walls, openings, half walls and matching doors. Floors can snap to wall tops, neighboring floors and mid-height opening edges, but require direct wall-top or solid-wall midpoint support. A solid-wall midpoint supplies support only. Matching half-height floor edges can meet full walls and openings. Foundations sit on flat ground. Occupied openings, interior structural crossings and unsupported pieces are rejected.

Grade base costs and door recipes come from the existing dedicated-server data. Shape multipliers and placement geometry still need validation against the current Rust build. Construction includes initial twig wood and each subsequent upgrade; removals give no refund.

The midpoint rules are historically documented by Facepunch, not verified against the current native build. No native Rust stability percentage, floor-to-floor stability transmission, terrain, rocks, monuments, building privilege, roof conditionals, bunkers, freehand deployables, door swing clearance, upkeep or server-specific rules. Legacy v1 guides retain their original rules. Validate a design in Rust before building it on a live server.
