The 2026 model is best understood as three layers stacked on top of each other. Understanding them separately is what makes your practice deliberate instead of superstitious.
First is the base recoil: a broadly consistent kick, mostly upward with a slight directional lean, that gives each weapon its general shape. Second is per-shot randomisation: on top of that base, every bullet adds a small random horizontal and vertical offset, so no two sprays are identical and the exact path can never be pre-traced. In a real fight you are trading control for exposure. Crouching and aiming down sights give you the tightest cone but pin you in place. The skill is knowing when a tight controlled burst is worth the reduced mobility and when you are better off moving and firing looser.

Fire in short bursts and let the cone recover between them instead of holding the trigger and hoping. Focus on centering: keep pulling the muzzle back onto the target's chest through the base kick, because a centred cone lands far more of its random spread on the enemy. Practise recovery, the quick reset of your aim after each burst, since most kills come from the second and third burst, not the first. Train across ranges too, because a cone that is forgiving up close is punishing at distance, and burst length should shrink as range grows.
