Recycle & repair

Recycling

Per item at full condition. Green’s 60% boost needs 4 heavy fuses at the Power Plant; red requires maximum power (18 fuses).

How returns work

Component fractions are random rolls; Scrap fractions carry over between cycles. Worn items return less.

Repair

Repair cost rules

A half worn item costs half as much to repair. Rust stores no repair cost. The bench builds one from the crafting recipe: components are swapped for the first ingredient of their own recipe, then everything is charged at 20% and rounded up.

Raiding

Takes 100% extra explosion damage.

One target at full health and contact range, vanilla settings, fresh melee tools. This target has no soft side.

How counts and times are worked out

The splash filter describes sharing damage across walls, not collateral damage to players or nearby deployables. C4 and satchels do not share construction damage even when loose. Counts are for one target; visibility and distance determine possible splash.

Times are exact for melee and for anything fired: swings times swing delay, or shots times fire rate plus the reloads that forces. For a charge you place by hand it is one second per charge plus the fuse, and that one second is the only estimate here. Melee tool counts assume fresh tools, because repairing lowers a tool's maximum condition each time and that rate is not in the files we read. Vanilla server settings, contact range, no distance falloff.

What to know

  • Removing authorization does not instantly remove the tax

Watch out: Group upkeep counts cupboard and code-lock users, including guest access and users removed during the last 24 hours. Hover the cupboard’s upkeep cost to inspect the current surcharge.

  • Privilege follows the building

Building privilege extends from the connected building’s foundations. It is not simply a fixed circle centered on the cupboard. Check the Building Privilege indicator around your actual base footprint.
