Livestock ownership simplified and old age removed
Cows belong to whoever buys them or feeds them at their trough, they no longer die of old age, and wild breeding is capped.
Bonding is now only needed to lead an animal, and nobody can take a lead from the owner. Animals with no owner cannot breed, and the UI shows the owner or tells you to feed the animal at a trough to claim it. Crowding is the only cause of death. Starved animals lie down at 1 HP and get up again once food is available.
To stop wild herds growing out of control, a full bond now takes 15 minutes instead of 5 before breeding is possible, calves born in the wild cannot reproduce, and the server caps the livestock population. Free-range herds stop breeding at a size cap, which the latest change sets at 5 within 40m. Penned animals measure their actual floor area, and eat less trough food when there is grass in the pen.
